Dries Van Noten builds a new home for craft in Venice

One year after stepping away from the runway, Dries Van Noten introduces a new chapter with the launch of the Fondazione Dries Van Noten, a cultural initiative in Venice dedicated to celebrating craft in all its forms. The Fondazione will present exhibitions, residencies, talks and cross-disciplinary projects.

The idea for a foundation has been quietly brewing for over a decade, said Dries Van Noten, one of the legendary "Antwerp Six", driven by a desire to give back, celebrate craftsmanship, and inspire future generations.
