World premiere of LEICA – A Century of Vision at Newport Beach Film Festival 2026

We are excited to share that LEICA - A Century of Vision by Reiner Holzemer will celebrate its World Premiere at Newport Beach Film Festival on October 17th, 2026. Director Reiner Holzemer will be attending the premiere in California, together with two of the protagonists – Andy Summers and Mathieu Bitton.

LEICA - A CENTURY OF VISION explores how the Leica camera became the instrument of choice for generations of visual storytellers – through the perspectives and stories of some of the most influential photographers of our time.

The film features legendary figures including Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sebastião Salgado, Steve McCurry, Jane Evelyn Atwood, Ralph Gibson, and Alex Webb, alongside contemporary voices such as JR, Sarah M. Lee, Greg Williams, and Ragnar Axelsson.

Their photographs have captured defining moments, challenged perspectives, and revealed the extraordinary within the everyday. Blending personal insight, photographic history, and a deep passion for the medium, the film offers an intimate look at the people behind some of the most powerful images of our time.
