October 2025 – Newport Beach, California – The documentary AKRIS – FASHION WITH A HERITAGE will celebrate its California premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival 2025, portraying the remarkable story of the Swiss fashion house Akris and its century-long legacy of craftsmanship and innovation.

Directed by Reiner Holzemer, the film offers an intimate look at how creativity and tradition intersect within a family-run brand that has shaped modern elegance for over 100 years. Through rare archival footage and interviews, the documentary reveals the artistry and emotion behind Akris’ design philosophy.

Screening: Saturday, October 18th at 3:30 pm at The Lot in Fashion Island.
